Ways of Working: Creative Business Journeys

Curated/Produced exhibition on behalf of the Network for Creative Enterprise, funded by ACE and ERDF, at Knowle West Media Centre, 2019.

An exhibition exploring the fundamental concepts of creativity, sustainability and community, asking: what allows a creative business to grow?

Ways of Working marked the culmination of the Network for Creative Enterprise

(NfCE), a programme that offered practical support to creative individuals and enterprises across Bristol and Bath, helping them grow into sustainable businesses. Working with data visualization expert Dr Michael Johnson, from the Glasgow School of Art, the exhibition mapped members’ journeys, digging deeper to unearth inspiring stories. It offered a chance to see, touch and play with products and prototypes developed by NfCE members, bringing creative ideas to life: from talking picture books to 3D photography.

The NFCE included the Pervasive Media Studio, Spike Island, KWMC The factory, The Guild and UWE.
